WHO WE ARE

WE ARE GENSA NETWORK

Gender and Equity Network South Asia or GENSA is a Special Interest Group of the Community of Evaluators South Asia (COE SA) that will promote an equity and gender lens in evaluations, particularly giving voice to the special challenges in addressing these issues in South Asia.

We currently have 193 members from seven countries in South Asia and are always open to welcoming more!

A Core Team (currently consisting of a small volunteer group) looks after the activities of GENSA. We also have Country Representatives on board who bring in the country specific context to our work and understanding of evaluation discussions in the South Asian region.

WHAT WE DO

GENSA seeks to become a community of like minded people and professionals in the field of research and evaluation in South Asia. Together, we will learn, share, exchange, and find innovative solutions & responses to evaluation challenges unique to South Asian countries via the various initiatives the Network will offer such as skill building coffee break sessions, expert lectures, discussion forums, spotlight on membership work/publications, and the GENSA Blogspot.

WHAT WE OFFER

GENSA has some exciting opportunities and events for all its members that will be organized to keep the culture of interaction and discussion around important issues on gender, equity, and evaluation.

For the seamless functioning of Network activities, designated Task Forces have been put in place to ease out roles and responsibilities and ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to participate and contribute.
