GENSA’s participated in the roundtable discussion on ‘Building capacity of young evaluators in Gender and Equity

“Lessons from the Global South’ on June 2, 2021. GENSA presented during gLOCAL Evaluation week hosted by J-PAL/ CLEAR South Asia at IFMR and has speakers across south asia.
The roundtable discussion centered on the track ‘Evaluation Capacity Development’ and the thematic question ‘How can we strengthen National M&E Systems to integrate gender dimensions better and contribute to gender equality?’ The event culminated into important takeaways for the audience and provided them with an overview of concurrent issues facing the M&E ecosystem in South Asian countries with a gender lens. The event highlighted some of the critical aspects including the gaps that are existing, challenges faced by young evaluators and the need for contextualising knowledge for gender and equity. “
